Plant Loader/Operator Gold Bar, WA

This position reports to the High Rock Mine Manager, and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant and/or operating equipment. Communicate all maintenance needs for these plants to the maintenance personnel. Candidate should be familiar with crushing, screening and conveying of aggregates.

BMS Warehouse/Yard Services Redmond, WA

This position reports to the Building Materials Supervisor. Yard Services provides customer service to all Cadman customers internal and external. This position involves loader and forklift operation. Must be able to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Offload incoming deliveries and load customer purchases
  • Stock and face shelves in the Building Materials Store and re-stock inventory when delivered
  • Using hydraulic cutter/bender, cut and bend rebar
  • Address customer concerns and questions
  • Schedule with follow through on customer deliveries and will call orders
  • Team player helping grow Building Materials business
  • To learn all about the products sold at the Building Materials Store and their usages.
  • Follow housekeeping procedures to maintain an orderly and safe working environment
  • Follow shipping and receiving procedures
  • Willing to work Saturdays

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

QC Field Technician Redmond, WA

This position reports to the QC Supervisor. Duties include performing plastic and hardened concrete testing – slump, air, unit weight, specific gravity and compressive strength. Writing daily reports using MS Windows and MS Excel, and working with production operators to troubleshoot out-of-specification products. Requires working knowledge of math and the ability to calculate and accurately complete test reports. Strong communications skills required to facilitate interaction with customers, outside labs, dispatch and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Daily testing and sampling of concrete at batch plants, aggregate production facilities, laboratories and job sites.
  • Ability to accept, modify or reject concrete loads based on results.
  • Complete test report documentation
  • Attain and maintain ACI certification
  • Attend pre-construction conference meetings with sales
  • Provide customer assistance support as an ambassador of the company

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ready mix concrete experience and expertise preferred
  • ACI Level 1 certification preferred, but required within the first 6 months of employment
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly
  • Need to feel comfortable with heights, and be able to climb ladders at construction sites
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Outlook
